EUGENE, Ore. – For the fifth time in his already remarkable Crimson career, junior
Tito Alofe is an All-American in the men's high jump across both indoor and outdoor competition with a top 15 finish at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Alofe wrapped up one of the most memorable individual campaigns in program history with yet another accolade, earning All-America Second Team honors after finishing in 12
th place in the men's high jump final. After clearing 2.11m (6'11") on his first attempt, Alofe stayed alive at 2.16m (7'1") by clearing the bar on his third and final attempt. The 2026 NCAA indoor men's high jump champion, Alofe finished in 12
th place after bowing out of the competition at 2.19m (7'2.25").
A native of Peachtree City, Georgia, the 2025-26 collegiate season was one to remember for Alofe. In Fayetteville, Arkansas, Alofe became the first Crimson in school history to win an NCAA national title in the indoor men's high jump, as he is the second student-athlete in Ivy League history to win the national title in the event. The 2026 Ivy League champion in the outdoor men's high jump, Alofe is now a five-time All-American in the high jump across indoor and outdoor competition.
After taking All-America Second Team status in the men's 10,000m earlier this week, junior
Charlie Ortmans is an All-America honorable mention in the men's 5000m, finishing in 17
th place in the final at Hayward Field. Ortmans crossed the finish line in 14:03.17 to secure his spot. Along with his Ivy League men's 10,000m title at the 2026 Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships, Ortmans was also an All-Ivy League Second Team pick in the men's 5000m.
