EUGENE, Ore. – Harvard track & field closed the book on the 2025-26 collegiate season this morning at Hayward Field, as another phenomenal showing in the circle lifted first-year Nadjela Wepiwé to All-America Second Team honors in the women's discus throw on the final day of action at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Only one of three first-years in the field in the women's discus at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Wepiwé quickly regrouped after a fault on her first attempt of the day, as the Friedrichsdorf, Germany native launched a personal-best attempt of 55.25m (181'3") to cement her spot in 13^th place.

Wepiwé's throw from Hayward Field ranks fourth all-time in school history, as Wepiwe is now the fourth All-American in the women's discus throw in program history, joining her sister and current Crimson junior Milina Wepiwé, Estel Valeanu '23 and Nikki Okwelogu '17. It was an incredibly successful postseason run for Wepiwé, as a previous personal-best of 54.82m (179'10") at the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky last month punched her ticket to Hayward Field.

• In her debut at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Wepiwé earns All-America Second Team honors with a 13^th place finish.
• Wepiwé is now the fourth student-athlete in program history to earn All-America status in the women's discus throw.
• On her second attempt, Wepiwé reached 55.25m (181'3"), a mark that ranks fourth all-time in school history.
• Wepiwé joins juniors Charlie Ortmans and Tito Alofe as the three Crimson to earn All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
