Softball Announces Class of 2030

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard softball will welcome five talented and promising members of the Class of 2030 to the team next fall, as the Crimson's Class of 2030 pulls talent from five different states.

"This is one of the most complete recruiting classes we have assembled for Harvard Softball. They bring game-changing pitching, explosive offensive power, dynamic speed, and the versatility to impact every facet of the program," head coach Jenny Rohn said. "We expect this group to have an impact on and off the field from the moment they arrive on campus this fall. What makes this class truly special, is who they are as people. They embody the culture of Harvard Softball. They are individuals of exceptional character, integrity, and leadership who will strengthen our program and positively influence the Harvard community for years to come."

Eleanor Brummond | Pitcher | North Augusta, S.C.

Four-year letterwinner in softball at North Augusta High School … 2026 All-Region Selection … Led North Augusta High School to a district championship in 2026 … Served as a team captain for North Augusta High School during the 2026 season … North Augusta Softball Team MVP in 2023 … 2024 Clearwater Invitational All-Tournament Team honoree … 2024 Line Drive Media Top 100 Pitcher … Led North Augusta High School to South Carolina 4A District Championships in 2023 and 2024 … Pushed North Augusta High School to the 4A State Semifinals in 2023 and 2024 … North Augusta Softball Leadership Award recipient in 2025 … 2025 National Merit Scholars Competition Semifinalist … 2022 Aiken County Celebration of Character winner.

Four-year letterwinner in softball at the St. Agnes Academy … 2024, 2025 and 2026 First Team All-State selection … Garnered All-District First Team recognition in 2024, 2025 and 2026 … 2024 and 2026 All-State Tournament Team honoree … Picked up All-District Second Team honors in 2023 … Led St. Agnes Academy to the TAPPS Division I 6A State Championship in 2024 … Also a member of St. Agnes Academy teams that advanced to the semifinal round of the TAPPS Division I 6A State Tournament in 2023, 2025 and 2026 … 2023 USA Softball U15 High Performance Program Top 18 Performer … 2024 All-Greater Houston Private School Team honoree … A finalist for the 2024 Houston Private School Player of the Year … St. Agnes Academy 2024 Offensive Player of the Year … Will serve as the team captain for the St. Agnes Academy during the 2026 season … 2025 All-State Academic Team honoree … A member of the National Honor Society.

Jaida Pinkins | Outfield/Utility | Thomasville, Ga.

Lettered in four different sports at Thomas County Central High School … Two-year softball team captain … 2024 First Team All-Region selection … Earned Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2024 … Garnered All-Region honorable mention recognition in 2023 … Led Thomas County Central High School to the state quarterfinals in 2025 … Recorded a .420 batting average and a .418 on-base percentage with only seven strikeouts during the 2025 season … Also earned All-Region honors in basketball during the 2024 season … 2025 and 2026 Thomas County Female Athlete of the Year winner … 2024 Thomasville Enterprise Female Athlete of the Year … Nine-time Envision Scholar Athlete … National Honor Society Georgia Certificate of Merit recipient … Mother, Kristina, was an All-Southeastern Conference honoree in track & field at South Carolina … Father, Dondrial, was a two-year starter at quarterback for South Carolina.

Amanda Thompson | Pitcher/Utility | Tallahassee, Fla.

Four-year letterwinner in softball at Saint John Paul II Catholic High School … 2026 WCTV Scholar Athlete of the Year … 2026 Big Bend Softball Player of the Year … Florida Positive Athlete Award winner … 2023 FCA Leon County Player of the Year winner … 2023 FCA Leon County Sophomore of the Year … 2023 All-Big Bend Softball Player of the Year … 2023 and 2025 Saint John Paul II Catholic High School Team MVP … Team captain for Saint John Paul II Catholic High for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 seasons … Owns school records in batting average, on-base percentage, home runs, earned run average, hits, RBIs, slugging percentage, no-hitters and strike outs … Ended her high school career as an impact player on both sides, collecting 837 strikeouts, 100 career hits, 30 home runs, 107 RBIs, .490 batting average in her high school career … Struck out 286 batters and hit 14 home runs her senior year … Class Valedictorian at Saint John Paul II Catholic High School … National Mu Alpha Theta Honors Society Member … National Honors Society member … Father, James, played quarterback at Temple … Brother, Julian, is a linebacker at Alabama A&M.
