CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football landed a program-record four players on the Stats Perform Preseason All-America Team, it was announced today.
Damien Henderson (DB) was named to the second team, with
Seamus Gilmartin (TE),
Thomas O'Brien (OL) and
Sean Line (LB) earning spots on the third team.
Â
The Crimson's four Stats Perform preseason honorees eclipses the team record of two, originally established in 2018, when Justice Shelton-Mosley (WR/Ret.) and Larry Allen (OL) were first-team selections. Harvard's four preseason All-Americans also marks the most by an Ivy League team since at least 2010.
Â
Henderson, a 2023 Freshman All-American, is coming off a 2025 campaign that saw him total 46 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, two quarterback hurries and six pass breakups. The two-time all-conference selection's two picks were tied for the most on the team, while his PBU and tackle numbers ranked second and fourth, respectively.
Â
Gilmartin, a rising senior, enters 2026 as the Crimson's returning leader in receiving touchdowns with five (tied with WR
Brady Blackburn) to go along with 29 receptions and 383 receiving yards. The tight end from California has also earned All-Ivy League honors in each of the last two seasons.
Â
Joining Gilmartin on the third-team offense is o-lineman
Thomas O'Brien. A 2025 All-Ivy League First-Team performer, O'Brien allowed zero sacks, one hit and two hurries last season, according to Pro Football Focus.
Â
Harvard's final preseason All-American is Line, who garnered first-team all-Ivy League honors in '25. The New Jersey native enjoyed a breakout campaign that saw him lead the team with 94 tackles, while adding 4.0 TFL, 1.5 sacks, one interception, 10 quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.
Â
The quartet helped Harvard capture its third consecutive Ivy League championship and earn its first bid to the NCAA FCS Playoffs in 2025. The Crimson rose to as high as No. 7 in the Stats Perform Top 25 Poll and finished the year with a 9-2 record (6-1 Ivy). Harvard's season, meanwhile, will get underway on Sept. 19, at fellow 2025 NCAA participant New Hampshire. Season tickets and single-game tickets for the 2026 home schedule are available at GoCrimson.com.
