Cambridge, Mass.- Harvard sophomore forward
Alex Killorn has been selected the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week,
as voted by the league's coaches.
The Montreal, Que., native scored Harvard's first two goals,
as well as assisted on the third, all in the second period, while
the Crimson turned a 1-0 deficit into a 5-3 win in Friday's
season opening game at Dartmouth.
Killorn notched the game's equalizer 87 seconds into the
second period off assists by Michael Biega and Chris Huxley.
Killorn scored Harvard's second goal of the evening on a
Crimson power play later in the period with assists from Chris
Huxley and Daniel Moriarty. Rookie forward Louis Leblanc then
notched his first collegiate score off an assist from Killorn late
in the period.
The Crimson travels to New York for a pair of league games this
weekend. Harvard faces Colgate Friday at 7 p.m. and No. 5 Cornell
Saturday at 7 p.m.
