CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman Max Eliot of
the Harvard men's water polo team has been named the
Collegiate Water Polo Association Rookie of the Week for the second
time this season, the CWPA announced Tuesday.
Eliot, who was also honored by the conference Sept. 15, led
Harvard with a career-high five goals in the Crimson's 12-7
win over Queens (N.Y.) Saturday. A native of Studio City, Calif.,
Eliot also made three steals and drew four kickouts in the victory,
as Harvard improved to 2-0 in the Northern Division standings.
Overall, the Crimson owns a 4-8 record on the season.
Eliot and the Crimson will travel to the Claremont Convergence
this week to face four opponents. Harvard will play Chapman and
Ponoma-Pitzer Friday, before taking on No. 12 Concordia and Cal
Baptist Saturday.
