2010-11 Season Preview Video
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Despite only winning one event at
the 2009-10 Ivy League Championships, the Harvard women's
swimming and diving team still came within 27 points of defending
its title last season. Alexandra Clarke '10 led the charge
for Harvard all season, earning a first-team All-Ivy League nod and
breaking her own school record in an All-America performance in the
1,650-yard freestyle at the NCAA Championships. However, at the
outset of the 2010-11 season, the Crimson has a new set of seniors,
ready to lead a talented group of swimmers and divers on a quest to
reclaim the league title.
Stephanie Wriede Morawski, the Costin Family Head Coach for
Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving, enters her 14th season
at helm of the program with a roster that features seven returning
All-Ivy athletes from last year. While the 2010-11 schedule
features only two home meets, the Crimson is prepared to get it
done on the road this season.
