Ablorde Ashigbi competes in the hammer throw at the annual
Harvard-Yale meet (Harvard Athletic Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Claire Richardson and
Ablorde Ashigbi of the Harvard track and field team have been
featured in the Harvard Gazette.
Richardson, one of the most decorated runners in Harvard track
and field/cross country history, overcame injuries midway through
her collegiate career to excel in her senior season, capturing the
3,000 at this year's Heptagonal Championships. She plans to
use her final year of eligibility to compete at Georgetown where
she will be a graduate student.
Ashigbi had a successful senior season, leading a talented
Crimson throwing corps during the indoor and outdoor campaigns.
Upon graduation, he will continue his work improving public health
and business opportunities in Africa.
