CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 18 Harvard men's water polo will host two CWPA Northern Division opponents Saturday, Oct. 25 at Blodgett Pool. Harvard opens the doubleheader against MIT at 11 a.m. and finishes the day with a match up against Connecticut College at 3 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Crimson competed in the Ivy Championships last week. Harvard fell to then-No. 13 ranked Brown in a triple-overtime thriller, 15-14, in the first semifinal game. The Crimson was back in the pool later that day and defeated Dartmouth, 15-11, to secure a third-place finish, Harvard's third No. 3 finish since 2010.

Net Snappers
Harvard continues to find the back of the net this season, scoring 10 or more goals in eight-straight games, while going 8-2 during the streak. The Crimson has hit the double-digit mark in 17 games thus far, compiling a record of 14-3. The Crimson has faced Connecticut College twice and MIT once thus far, reaching 10-plus goals in all three games, including a season-high 22 against the Camels on October 11.

Movers and Shakers
The Crimson has been ranked in CWPA Top 20 for eight straight weeks, dating back to August 28 in the 2014 preseason poll.

After its third-place finish at the Ivy Championship, Harvard moved up one spot in the most recent CWPA Top 20 pool to No. 18.

Senior Day
Harvard's lone senior, Max Murphy, will be competing in his final home games this weekend. Prior to the Crimson's game against MIT, he will be honored for his four years of service to the Harvard water polo program.

About MIT

The Engineers are 11-10 this season and 3-4 in the division. MIT comes to Blodgett on a three-game win streak with a CWPA DIII Championship under its belt. The Engineers took out Monmouth College, Washington & Jefferson and Johns Hopkins on their road to a first-place finish. Harvard and MIT last met October 15 at Alumni Pool, with the Crimson narrowly defeating the Engineers, 12-10, behind Ben Zepfel's two fourth-quarter goals.

About Connecticut College

Connecticut College has struggled this season, compiling an overall record of 3-10, and is winless in the division. At last week's DIII Championship, the Camels went 1-2 with a victory over Penn State-Behrend. Connecticut College is 0-2 against the Crimson in 2014, allowing 39 goals. Harvard has not lost to the Camels since the two teams started playing each other in 2000, leading the all-time series 20-0.
