Last Time Out
The Crimson swept all three divisions at the Harvard Invitational, with Ellen Jang-Milsten and Sylvia Li winning the singles flights and June Lee and Monica Lin prevailing in doubles play. Harvard combined to finish 26-9 in the tournament, which was the best mark by a significant margin among the five teams represented in the tournament.

Playing in five tournaments during the fall, Harvard earned plenty of hardware. The Crimson won two of three flights at the Cissie Leary Invitational, all-four singles groups at the Billie Jean King Invite, and every division at the Harvard Invitational. Freshman Ellen Jang-Milsten leads the team with 13 singles victories, and all of Harvard's student-athletes sport a .500 record or better. In doubles play, Monica Lin has combined with teammates for 13 wins, while Jang-Milsten, Sylvia Li and Annika Ringblom have 10 apiece.
The Crimson student-athletes have combined for a 104-40 overall record, including a 72-27 mark in singles play and 32-13 record in doubles.

A Breath of Fresh Air
Harvard's three freshmen have adjusted well to collegiate tennis, combining for a 25-7 record in singles play and 22-9 when paired with a teammate. Nikki Kallenberg won the A-division at the Billie Jean King Invitational, Ellen Jang-Milsten won the A-division at the Harvard Invitational, and Annika Ringblom paired with Monica Lin to win the doubles flight at the Cissie Leary Invitational.
Home Court Advantage
The Crimson has excelled at home over the past three seasons, posting a 25-8 record in dual matches, including a 7-2 mark last season. Harvard has eight home dual contests on its spring schedule.

Scouting Rhode Island
Rhode Island opens its dual schedule in Cambridge in the first of four matches away from Kingston. Competing in the Atlantic 10, the Rams' student-athletes have combined to go 26-26 in singles matches and 18-15 when playing doubles. Nithila Asokaraj leads Rhode Island with six singles victories, and formed a tandem with Kathleen Uy to record six doubles wins.
On the Sidelines
Traci Green is in her eighth season at the helm for the Crimson. Under her guidance, Harvard won the program's 18th Ivy League title in 2009 with a 13-8 overall record and a 6-1 conference mark. Green owns a 73-63 overall record, including a 71-46 mark over the past six seasons, and 30-19 mark in the Ancient Eight.
What's Next
Harvard travels to Vanderbilt for the ITA Kick-Off Weekend January 24-25. The Crimson starts the tournament against the host Commodores before facing either Texas or DePaul the following day.
