GREENSBORO, N.C. – Harvard's Danielle Lee and Jing Leung have finished their time at the 2015 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships this weekend, both with impressive results. Lee, who competed in the 100 and 200 backstroke events, finishes her second time at NCAAs, while Leung, who competed on platform, enjoyed a stellar end to her freshman year.
Lee, who has worked hard all season and posted some of the fastest times in the Ivy League this year, took 29th in the 100 back, swimming a personal morning-best 53.11, an improvement of her showing from a year ago at NCAAs. The junior then turned around to nearly topple her own record in the 200 back with a strong swim of 1:54.78 in the 200 back on Saturday.
That same day, Leung, who was a solid contributor all season long on both the 1- and 3-meter dives for a deep Harvard diving team, showed off her skills on the platform. The freshman took 26th among a tough field, scoring a combined 239.25 to represent the Crimson well.
With the weekend concluded, the Harvard women's swimming and diving team officially closes its highly successful year. The Crimson tied for the Ivy League Dual Meet title and finished strong to take second at the Ivy League Championships.
