The Crimson earned the doubles point for the second-straight match (Athletic Communications).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On Friday afternoon at the Murr Center, Harvard women's tennis dropped a tightly-contested tilt with Yale, 4-3, that came down to a tiebreaker in the last matchup.

For the second-straight match, Harvard (7-10, 0-5 Ivy) started the contest with a win in the doubles round. Monica Lin and Annika Ringblom combined for an 8-6 win from the top position, while Amy He and Ellen Jang-Milsten breezed past their opponents, earning an 8-1 victory.

Jang-Milsten continued her success at No. 5 singles, sweeping Yale's (9-9, 3-3 Ivy) Courtney Amos 6-0, 6-4, for her 17th victory of the season. Playing in the fourth slot, June Lee rallied to win her 14th bout of the year, 2-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5 over Sherry Li.

Tied 3-3, Amanda Lin's contest with Carol Finke came down to the tiebreaker in the third set, with Finke ultimately scoring the final point to win 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (3).

Harvard travels to Brown for its final road contest of 2015 on Sunday, April 19. The doubles matches will begin at 12 p.m.
