Vesey Collects Paul Hines Award and New England All-Star Team Selection

Jimmy Vesey's list of postseason honors continues to grow with Paul Hines Award (Steve Musco).

BOSTON – The postseason accolades continue to role in for junior forward Jimmy Vesey, as he was recognized by the New England Hockey Writers Association as the Paul Hines Award winner as the Most Improved Player, while also earning a spot on the all-star team.

A Hobey Hat Trick Finalist, Vesey's list of postseason honors also include being named ECAC Hockey and Ivy League Player of the Year, the Walter Brown Award recipient, and ECAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. He was also named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Month in both November and March.

Vesey collected the Paul Hines Award for New England's Most Improved Player after recording 58 points during the 2014-15 season, 36 points better than his 2013-14 total. Vesey finished with career highs in both goals and assists with 32 and 25, as well as a plus/minus rating of plus-23. The North Reading, Massachusetts, native led the Crimson in points as the team won the ECAC conference tournament and made its first NCAA tournament appearance since the 2006 season.

Vesey, as well as all of the 2015 award winners and all-stars, will be honored at this year's banquet scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 at the Prince Restaurant in Saugus, Massachusetts. The banquet will start at 6 p.m. All awards and all-star teams will be presented at the gala. All coaches, student-athletes, family members and friends are encouraged to attend Tuesday's banquet.
