CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman Mimi Tarrant had two goals and an assist to help No. 16 Harvard field hockey (12-4, 5-1 Ivy) rally from an early deficit for a 6-2 win over Dartmouth (7-9, 2-4 Ivy) at Berylson Field on Saturday afternoon.

Bente van Vlijmen, Tessel Huibregtsen, Maddie Earle, and Olivia Allin added second-half goals for Harvard, which trailed 2-0 late in the first half before scoring six unanswered goals.

Tarrant got things going for the Crimson with a redirection off a nice pass from senior Ellie Cookson with 8:17 to go in the first half.

Bente van Vlijmen tied the game at 2-2 just 2:54 into the second half on a great shot following a penalty corner, from just inside the top right side of the circle.

Then Huibregtsen gave Harvard the lead on a great 20-yard run, finishing from in close at 44:18.

Tarrant notched her second of the game from the top of the circle off a long feed from Victoria Boylett to make it 4-2. Earle (56:28) and Allin (64:16) added late goals to put the game out of reach.

Harvard Highlights:

• Freshman Mimi Tarrant (two goals, assist) recorded her third multiple goal game of the season and leads all Ivy League freshmen with 28 points (10 goals, eight assists) on the season.
• Victoria Boylett and Ellie Cookson each had two assists, with Boylett notching a new single-game high. Cookson extended her career assists record to 34, and leads Harvard with 10 assists on the year.
• Bente van Vlijmen notched her 10^th goal of the season, giving Harvard three 10-goal scorers (van Vlijmen, Kathleen Young, and Tarrant)

Game Notes:

• Harvard outshot Dartmouth 35-4 for the game, including a 20-2 margin in shots on goal. Harvard had a 19-2 edge in penalty corners.
• Harvard's 6-2 win was its most lopsided win in the Dartmouth series, dating back to 1974, and marked the most goals scored by the Crimson against the Big Green.
• With a 12-4 record, Harvard matched the program record for wins in single season, a mark established last year, when the Crimson finished the year 12-6 (7-0 Ivy League). The Crimson could set a program record next Sunday at Columbia.
