Field Hockey Reveals 2026 Spring Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Defending Ivy League regular season champion Harvard field hockey reveals its 2026 spring schedule, as the Crimson will face six opponents across three Saturdays this April.

On Saturday, Apr. 11, Harvard welcomes New Hampshire and Syracuse to Berylson Field, a pair of NCAA Tournament foes from the past two seasons. The defending America East tournament champions, New Hampshire ended the 2025 campaign with a 12-7 record, going 4-1 in conference play during the regular season slate. The Crimson and Wildcats last met in the 2025 NCAA Tournament First Round, as the Crimson recorded a historic 8-2 win, representing Harvard's largest win in the NCAA Tournament in school history.

The Orange ended the 2025 season with a 13-7 record, advancing to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals for the first time since 2023. An Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Semifinalist last year, Harvard and Syracuse last met in the 2024 NCAA Tournament First Round, as junior forward and a team captain next season Lara Beekhuis scored the game-winning goal in overtime.

Harvard then hits the road on Saturday, Apr. 18, traveling to Amherst, Massachusetts to face familiar foes UMass and Yale. An NCAA Tournament Semifinalist in 2024, UMass posted a 16-4 record, ending the 2025 season in the championship round of the MAC Tournament. Harvard toppled Yale, 2-1, to close out the 2025 regular season.

The Crimson's spring slate ends at Berylson Field on Saturday, Apr. 25, as Harvard hosts Boston University and Brown. The Terriers ended the season with an 8-11 record, advancing to the NCAA Tournament after defeating Lafayette in the Patriot League Tournament Championship. In a non-conference clash last season, five different Crimson found the back of the cage in a 7-0 Harvard win against Boston University. Harvard defeated Brown twice at Beryslon Field last season.

The Crimson ended the 2025 season with a 19-2 record, advancing all the way to the 2025 NCAA Tournament Semifinals after breaking the program record for wins in a single-season and completing the first perfect regular season in Ivy League history.
