CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Closing its five-game homestand at Lavietes Pavilion, Harvard men's basketball dropped a tight contest to Cornell, 67-61. Harvard moved to 11-8 (4-2 Ivy) on the season, while Cornell improved to 12-10 (4-2 Ivy).

 Junior Bryce Aiken led the scoring for the second-straight night, finishing with 24 points on 9-for-12 shooting. Junior Christian Juzang finished with 12 points, while classmate Chris Lewis totaled 10.

Cornell led early by as many as seven, 13-6, but Harvard responded to take a 15-13 lead after an 8-0 finished with a layup from Aiken. Harvard continued with a 17-0 run to take a 34-19 lead – it's largest of the night – and the home team held a 34-21 lead at the half.

Juzang tallied 10 of his 12 points in the second half, but Cornell fought back to tie the game with 8:46 to play. Following back-and-forth action over the closing minutes, the Big Red knocked down a clutch 3-pointer with 33 seconds to go to take a two-possession lead. Harvard's ensuing attempt missed, giving Cornell the win.

• Aiken tallied 24 points, while tying a career-high with three steals.
• Juzang and Lewis were in double figures with 12 and 10, with Lewis blocking a game-high two shots.

• Harvard fell for the first time in the last seven meetings with Cornell, and moves to 83-93 all-time against the Big Red.
• Harvard outrebounded Cornell, 29-24, and shot 51.2 percent as a team in the game.
