CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Due to the Ivy League Council of Presidents' decision to cancel all intercollegiate athletics competition through at least the end of February 2021, the Harvard men's volleyball program will not compete in its Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) conference contests for the 2021 season.
Due to EIVA conference competition typically beginning in early February, Harvard cannot commit to participating in the conference schedule this spring. This decision is consistent with the commitment to safeguard the health and wellbeing of student-athletes, the greater Harvard campus community and general public. Harvard and the Ivy League will continue to assess public health conditions and will determine future spring competition opportunities at a later date.
