PROVIDENCE, R.I. – On the third day of the 2020 Ivy League Championships, the Harvard women's swimming and diving team picked up four individual event champions and unseated Yale's five-year streak in the 400-yard medley relay on Friday evening.
First-year Felicia Pasadyn continued to impress on day three, securing her second individual champion honors. In the 400-yard individual medley, Pasadyn swam away from the field to take home the top spot, clocking in with a Harvard and pool record of 4:08.47.
Reigning two-time champion in the 100 butterfly, senior Miki Dahlke took the event for a third consecutive year. Eclipsing the Harvard program record – which she owned – by a hundredth of second, Dahlke posted an NCAA B-cut time and pool record of 51.88, finishing well ahead of Princeton's Christina Bradley.
Two more Harvard program records came down in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100-yard backstroke. In the 100 breast, junior Jaycee Yegher posted a first-place finish with a time of 59.76, while first-year Adaline Rose Bullock rounded out the four Crimson to earn individual champion honors. Bullock posted an NCAA B-cut time of 53.55, which puts her third amongst all-time leaders.
Harvard's 400-yard medley relay squad of Pasadyn, Yegher, Dahlke, and Kennidy Quist closed out the night securing the top spot with a program-best time of 3:32.72.
As a team, the Crimson currently sit in second-place, trailing Princeton by 56 points, 1,020-964.
Harvard Highlights
• Sophomore Helena Moreno opened the evening portion of the third day, finishing third in the 1,000-yard freestyle, registering a time of 9:47.07.
• Sophomore Liz Boyer also podiumed in the 400 IM, placing fifth with a time of 4:18.29.
• Senior Mei Lynn Colby placed third in the 100-yard backstroke with an NCAA B-cut time of 53.88.
• Junior Kennidy Quist and sophomore Samantha Shelton finished second and third in the 200-yard backstroke, posting NCAA B-cut times of 1:45.48 and 1:46.16, respectively.
