CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior forward Jack Badini signed a two-year entry level contract with the Anaheim Ducks, the team announced yesterday (March 30). Badini was orginially drafted by the Ducks in the third round (91st overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft. A native of Greenwich, CT, Badini was one of the team's top two-way centers over the duration of his three-year career with the Crimson. He finishes his collegiate career with 51 points (24 goals, 27 assists) in 97 games played.
Badini was one of the top faceoff men in college hockey, finishing the 2019-20 season eighth among all Division I players with a 60.8% win rate (284-183) on draws. He added 14 points (six goals, eight assists) with a plus-5 rating in 31 games played this year. Named to the 2017-18 ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team, Badini notched 17 points (10 goals, seven assists) in his rookie campaign. He notched a career high 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) in 2018-19.
