CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore forward Jack Drury had two goals and two assists, and junior defenseman Reilly Walsh added a pair of goals to help lift Harvard men's ice hockey (15-10-6) to a 7-1 win over St. Lawrence (4-27-5), clinching a 2-0 ECAC Hockey First Round series win over the Saints.

Sophomores Baker Shore and Henry Bowlby added first-period goals, and first-year John Farinacci had his second goal in as many nights to round out the scoring for the Crimson. First-year goaltender Mitchell Gibson stopped 22 shots to earn the win in net.

Harvard took a 3-0 lead after the opening 20 minutes of play and never looked back. Shore scored on a redirection in front of the net at 9:53 off a great pass from first-year defenseman Jace Foskey, who picked up his first collegiate point on the play.

Late in the period, Bowlby took a long stretch pass from sophomore defenseman Jack Rathbone (two assists) and beat Daniel Mannella (22 saves) on a breakaway at 17:17. With Harvard at the beginning of a five-minute power play moments later, Walsh took a pass from Drury in the high slot, skated left to right and fired a shot into the left corner of the net at 18:52 to make it 3-0.

Early in the second period, on the same power play, Walsh scored again off a backhand feed from Drury at 2:56 to give Harvard a 4-0 lead.

Drury scored his first of the night, jamming in a shot from just outside the crease off a great pass from first-year forward Nick Abruzzese (two assists) to put Harvard up 5-0 at 6:12 of the second period.

St. Lawrence scored a power play goal at 9:01 (Kaden Pickering), but Harvard held a four-goal lead after 40 minutes. Goals from Drury (15:41) and Farinacci (16:42) in the third period ensured Harvard would move on a quarterfinal series next weekend at Rensselaer.
