CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 13 Harvard field hockey (10-1, 3-0 Ivy) returns home this weekend to host Dartmouth on Saturday (Oct. 16, 1 p.m.) at Berylson Field.  
 
Harvard is keeping pace with the 2018 team matching its best 11-game start in school history. The Crimson has won five games in a row, most recently dispatching Yale last Saturday with a 3-1 win in New Haven. First-year forward Megan Joel recorded her first career two-goal game, scoring twice in a span of 1:16 to help Harvard pull away from the Bulldogs.

Senior captain Hannah Pearce recorded her first two assists of the season and has points in three straight games. She leads the team with 16 points (seven goals, two assists) on the year.
Harvard has recorded a 29-2 record in Ivy League play since the start of the 2016 season.

• Harvard is second in the nation with a 0.44 goals-against average, having allowed just five goals in regulation all season in 11 contests. Junior goalkeeper Ellie Shahbo (8-1) is also tops in the country with a .867 save percentage.
• Senior captain Hannah Pearce leads the team with 16 points (seven goals, two assists) and is fourth in the Ivy League with an average of 1.45 points per game.
• Harvard is tied for third in the nation with six shutouts on the season.
• Harvard is second in the Ivy League with 2.55 goals per game and 7.73 penalty corners per contest.
• Harvard and Dartmouth will meet for the 47^th time in field hockey, with the Big Green owning a 23-19-4 mark in the series. Harvard has won the last six meetings between the two teams, including the last game, a 7-1 victory on Nov. 2, 2019 at Berylson Field in which then-senior Bente van Vlijmen scored a career high four goals.
