CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 13 Harvard men's water polo team will travel to Santa Clara, Calif. to compete in the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament this upcoming weekend. Harvard will begin with Fresno Pacific at 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, Oct. 22 before a doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 23, taking on No. 18 Cal Baptist at 11:30 a.m. EST and host Santa Clara at 7:30 p.m. EST. The Crimson will conclude its trip on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 11:00 a.m. EST matching up with No. 7 UC Santa Barbara.

What to Know
- Harvard comes in to play with a 17-2 record on the season which includes a 4-1 record in NWPC conference play.
- In the CWPA Weekly National Top 20 Poll, Harvard checks in at No. 13 in the nation, UC Santa Barbara is ranked at No. 7, Cal Baptist comes in at No. 18, and Santa Clara also received votes.
- Harvard went 4-0 at the Harvard Invitational this past weekend, taking down Gannon, Wagner, Salem, and Mt. Saint Mary's.
- The Crimson left Santa Clara in 2019 with a 4-0 showing, including wins over Cal Baptist and Santa Clara.

At the Helm
Ted Minnis enters his 12th year as The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach in 2021-22. He led the Crimson to a historic 29-1 record in 2019, with an undefeated 27-0 mark through regular season play. Minnis was named NWPC Coach of the Year following the record-breaking season which set the program record for consecutive wins. He holds a record of 217-115 (.654) with the men's team through 11+ seasons.
Next Up
Harvard heads back home to host a trio of NWPC games at Blodgett Pool. The Crimson will take on No. 14 Princeton at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30 before a matchup with St. Francis Brooklyn at 5:00 p.m. Harvard will then play Iona College on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 3:00 p.m. All games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
