CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the first time since Nov. 2, 2019, No. 13 Harvard field hockey (4-0) will play a home game at Berylson Field, as the Crimson takes on Northeastern (1-4) on Friday (Sept. 17) night at 6 p.m. The game will air locally on NESN+. Harvard will travel to No. 16 UConn on Sunday (Sept. 19) for a 1 pm contest to round out the weekend.
Harvard is coming off wins over two nationally ranked opponents on the road, defeating No. 19 Delaware 2-0 last Friday before beating No. 22 Monmouth, 1-0 in overtime. Sophomore midfielder

Ellie Shahbo made seven saves in two starts, picking up two shutouts in her first action in net in 2021.
Harvard's 4-0 start is just two wins shy of the best start in school history, when the Crimson started 6-0 to begin the 1976 season. Harvard has won seven straight games overall dating back to the 2019 season.

- Sophomore midfielder Avery Donahue was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday (Sept. 13). In addition to having a goal and an assist, Donahue led the Crimson with five shots on goal on the weekend. She is tied for the team lead in scoring with six points (two goals, two assists) recording a point in each of Harvard's first four games.
- First-year Megan Joel recorded her first career point with an assist on Donahue's game-winner at Monmouth on Sunday.
- Harvard and Northeastern will meet for the 46th time in field hockey, with Northeastern holding a 28-17 advantage in the series. The Crimson has won three of the last four meetings, including a 2-0 win on Sept. 14, 2018 at Berylson Field the last time the two teams met.
- Harvard and UConn will play for the 33rd time, with the Crimson seeking its first win over the Huskies since Sept. 21, 2005.
