CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's tennis team is set to play host to Quinnipiac in its 2022 spring season home opener tomorrow, Jan. 22, at 4 p.m., at the Murr Center Indoor Courts.
The Crimson are coming off a loss at Illinois on Thursday, while the Bobcats are kicking off their season.
Harvard and Quinnipiac renew their annual matchup that began in 2018, after a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The Crimson lead the all-time series 3-0, with all three wins coming by a 6-1 margin.
In the most recent matchup in 2020, the Crimson won each point in straight sets; current athletes
Rachel Lim and
Rachel Eason earned a 6-2 win in their doubles match.
Eason also picked up a singles win, 6-0, 6-3, while
Mihaela Marculescu won her singles bout, 6-0, 6-0.
Sophia Ho joined the win column with a 6-2, 6-2 win in her match.

Traci Green, The Sheila Kelly Palandijan Head Coach for Harvard Women's Tennis and The Ragatz Family Harvard's Women's Coach of Excellence, is in her 15
th season at the helm of the program. She has a career coaching record of 181-141, including a 147-113 mark at Harvard.
