NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior
Esther Lawrence won the 3-meter diving event to lead Harvard University women's swimming and diving on the first day of the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet at the Bulldogs' Kiphuth Exhibition Pool on Friday.
On day one of a meet featuring three programs unbeaten in dual meet competition, the Crimson (6-0, 5-0 Ivy), host Bulldogs (7-0, 5-0 Ivy), and Tigers (7-0, 5-0 Ivy) completed half the meet with the remainder set for tomorrow – Saturday, Jan. 29.
In the team's final meet of the regular season, Lawrence won the 3-meter with a 330.65 – Harvard's top score on the event this season. First-year
Molly Hamlin placed second in the 200 freestyle while senior
Felicia Pasadyn (200 butterfly) and sophomore
Elizabeth Miclau (3-meter) each posted third-place finishes.
In the team scores, Harvard trails Yale, 105-45, and trails Princeton, 101-49.

Harvard completes competition at the H-Y-P meet tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 29. Competition begins with 3-meter 1-meter diving at 9:30 a.m. before swimming events begin at 12:05 p.m. with the 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 500 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 individual medley, and 400 freestyle relay.
