CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 14 Harvard men's water polo fell to No. 6 Long Beach State 15-9 in a hard-fought game at Blodgett Pool. The Crimson are now 1-1 on the weekend after its win last night against LIU with two games left in the Harvard Invitational coming tomorrow.
Breast Cancer Awareness Game
The Crimson hosted its featured Breast Cancer Awareness game this afternoon at Blodgett Pool. All students in attendance received a pink We Fight Together Harvard water polo t-shirt.
After the game Coach Minnis and the Harvard Water Polo program were excited to have members of the Dorchester Boys and Girls Club where the team hosted a meet and greet for the kids with an autograph session and pizza party.

- Kaleb Archer had an impressive game after tallying four-goals and one assist.
- Owen Hale scored a pair of goals.
- Captain Alex Tsotadze registered a goal and an assist.
- James Rozolis-Hill scored twice and drew a season-high six knockouts.
- Michael Sonsini added to his assist total with another two helpers.
- Noah Hodge made 11 saves in the game. The senior is now only 16 saves away from becoming the all-time saves leader in program history.

- Kaleb Archer opened the scoring a minute into the game.
- Both nationally ranked opponents exchanged goals as the game was tied at two a piece four minutes into the game.
- Long Beach State tallied two goals at the end of the opening quarter to stretch their lead to 4-2.
- Owen Hale scored the lone goal for the Crimson in the second quarter.
- Noah Hodge made many key saves late in the second quarter and third quarter to keep the Crimson in the game.
- Kaleb Archer scored twice in the third quarter to complete the hat trick.
- James Rozolis-Hill and Owen Hale both scored in the third quarter to make it 12-7 Long Beach State heading into the final frame.
- Rozolis-Hill tallied his second of the game and Kaleb Archer capped off his impressive night with his fourth in the final quarter.
Next Up
The Crimson close out the Harvard Invitational with two games tomorrow. They begin Sunday against Penn State Behrend at 10:15 a.m. before facing Ponoma-Pitzer at 2:15 p.m.
