CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Radcliffe women's lightweight rowing team competed for the first time in 2022-23 this past weekend at the Head of The Charles Regatta. The Black and White raced four boats over the two days and had one boat take home a gold medal.
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS
- The team kicked off Saturday with its lone event, the Championship 2x, where the boat placed 14th (20:19).
- On Sunday, the action kicked off with the Lightweight 4 where Radcliffe 'A' placed fifth (18:22) and Radcliffe 'B' placed 11th (19:36).
- Radcliffe ended the regatta in style as its Lightweight Eight boat took first place with a gold-medal-winning time of 15:54.

The Black and White will race again in three weeks, this time at the Foot of The Charles. Radcliffe's final fall-season race is slated for Saturday, Nov. 12.
