New London, CT – No. 13 Harvard men's water polo (9-4, 3-1 NWPC) won both of its games on Saturday. The Crimson opened its doubleheader by defeating Brown 15-10 before beating Connecticut College 20-6 later in the afternoon. 
 
Cameron Dougherty recorded his first hat trick of the year against Brown on his way to a five-goal day. Rishi Mohan also scored his first hat trick of the year while James Rozolis-Hill recorded yet another four-goal game against Connecticut College. Both goalies recorded a win on Saturday. 
 

Game 1: Harvard 15, Brown 10

Harvard Highlights

• Owen Hale found the back of the net four times in the victory. 
• Kaleb Archer and Michael Sonsini scored one goal each. 
• Alex Tsotadze scored on another five-meter penalty shot. 
• Cam Dougherty tallied his first hat trick of the season. 
• James Rozolis-Hill scored twice in the win. 
• Noah Hodge was solid in net as he made 12 saves including one on a five-meter penalty shot attempt.  

How it Happened

• Gabe Putnam opened the scoring. 
• The Crimson went on to score six consecutive goals in the first quarter. 
• Cam Dougherty scored back-to-back goals early in the opening frame. 
• Owen Hale scored twice in the second quarter to stretch the Crimson lead to 7-3 entering the half. 
• Kaleb Archer, James Rozolis-Hill, and Michael Sonsini all scored in the third quarter to make it 13-6 Crimson.

Game 2: Harvard 20, Connecticut College 6 

Harvard Highlights

• James Rozolis-Hill tallied four goals and two assists. 
• Michael Sonsini, Roger Brocket, and Owen Hale all scored a goal each. 
• Rishi Mohan registered his first hat trick of the season.
• Alex James also had his first four-goal performance of the year. 
• Cam Dougherty tallied another two goals in the win. 
• Tanner Furtak made two saves in the victory. 

How it Happened 

• The Crimson scored eight of eleven goals in the first quarter. 
• Harvard outscored the Camels 5-1 in the second quarter including a stretch of five Crimson goals in a row. 
• Harvard scored another three goals in the third quarter to increase its lead to 16-3 entering the final frame. 
• The Crimson scored four goals in the final quarter to hit twenty goals in the game. It is the second time this season the Crimson has scored twenty or more goals in a single game.

The Crimson returns to Cambridge on Sunday for a matchup against MIT at 12:00 p.m. at Zesiger Center Pool.
