CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's swimming and diving, coming off an Ivy League double-dual meet sweep last weekend, is scheduled to compete for the first time this season at home on Friday when Columbia (4-0; 3-0 Ivy) pays a visit to Blodgett Pool. The action is set to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET, with the meet airing on ESPN+.

- Harvard (2-0; 2-0 Ivy League) opened the 2022-23 campaign last Friday in Hanover, New Hampshire, taking on Dartmouth and Cornell. The Crimson downed the Big Green, 231-68, and defeated the Big Red, 211.50-88.50.
- Harvard set four Dartmouth pool records in the process of beginning a season with two wins for the second straight year. The Crimson etched its name atop the Karl Michael and Spaulding Pools record book in the 200 medley relay (1:28.35; Anthony Rincon, Jared Simpson, Umitcan Gures, Ryan Linnihan), 100 back (48.08; Will Grant), 200 back (1:47.42; Grant) and 200 free relay (1:21.62; Marcus Holmquist, Aayush Deshpande, David Greeley, Linnihan).
- This is the second straight season in which Harvard has opened the season against Dartmouth with Cornell and Columbia. Last year, the Crimson posted victories vs. the Big Green and Big Red in Ithaca, New York, before earning a 207-93 win vs. the Lions.
- Harvard leads the all-time series with Columbia, 71-5. The Crimson enters Friday's meet having won 15 consecutive matchups.
- The Lions come into the meet with a perfect 4-0 record, which includes Ivy League wins over Penn, Princeton and Yale.
