PROVIDENCE, RI.. – No. 15 Harvard men's water Polo defeated Conneticut College by a score of 22-4 to advance to the second of the NWPC tournament. The Crimson will face the winner St. Francis Brooklyn or MIT tomorrow in the semifinal matchup from the Coleman Aquatics Center in Providence, Rhode Island. If the Crimson win tomorrow, they will advance to the NWPC Championship Game. The semifinal matchup will be streamed on ESPN+
How it Happened
- The Crimson came out firing by scoring seven goals in the first quarter.
- James Rozolis-Hill and Michael Sonisni tallied the first two goals for Harvard.
- Alex Tsotadze and James Rozolis-Hill both tallied two goals in the opening quarter.
- Harvard led 7-1 after one.
- Michael Sonsini completed his hat trick early in the second quarter.
- Colin Le also recorded a natural hat trick as the junior scored three consecutive goals. It was his first hat trick of the season.
- The Crimson tallied another four goals in the third quarter.
