Harvard Field Hockey To Host High Level Events This Spring and Summer

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Harvard Field Hockey is excited to announce a list of top level field hockey events all taking place at Harvard's Berylson Family Field Hockey stadium. The Harvard Coaching staff will host a clinic on April 30 in combination with a full day tournament for seven a side teams. The summer kicks off with Harvard Hockey days in June and in July.
 
Harvard will also be hosting the FIH World Hockey Camp. 
 
The FIH World Hockey camp is back for year two and will focus on introducing you to the newest skills from international hockey. A technical curriculum developed by FIH Coaches from around the world. The camp focuses on all players who want to take the next step in their level of play gearing up to make your varsity program, preparing for your 1st year in college. This will be the best hockey experience this summer. 

Along with the camp, the FIH is hosting an International FIH Coaching course giving all participants access to new a high level international coaches. The coaches at this camp will be all top level NCAA coaches and FIH coaches.

Join us for a great day of Hockey. Work along with the Harvard Coaching staff at the Harvard Field Hockey stadium, Berylson Field.
 
This clinic is designed for all players focusing on development of individual skills through direct and detailed coaching and small game play.  You want to get better, learn more about Harvard Field Hockey, this is a great event to join.
 
Day schedule

9:30 am           Registration
10:00 am         Clinic session 1 individual skill development, Fundamentals, defense and circle work.
12:00 pm         Break
1:00 pm           Clinic session 2. Specialty skills, like 3D, one touch play and Small game play
3:00 pm           End of clinic
 
Crimson 7v7 Play Day (CLICK HERE TO REGISTER)

Who                                                                             All teams in U14, U16 and U19 category
                                                                                    Free agents in U16 and U19 category

 
Get your team and come to compete in a fun and competitive environment at Harvard. Battle for the Crimson Cup. Play games on the water based turf field in a 7v7 format.  All games on turf.
 
All club and high teams are invited in the following age categories: U14, U16 and U19.
 
Games are 25 minutes and 4 games guaranteed.
 
Besides teams this day is also open for free agents where we will place you on a team. This is only available for U16 and U19 pools.
 
This tournament is run and organized by the Harvard Coaching staff.

Kick off your summer with the best hockey around. Two days of top level hockey with the best coaches around.  This non overnight 2 day hockey camp provides direct exposure to the Harvard Coaching staff. Each morning session will focus on various skills that will elevate your game play. In the afternoon we will implement these skills in small game and tournament play.

9:00 am           Session 1 Technical skills, Circle play, Power dribbling, elimination receiving, 1v1 defense and more.
12:00 pm         Lunch & Break 
1:30 pm           Session 2, Small game play focused on Skill implementation
