CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's swimming and diving senior
Felicia Pasadyn has qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at the Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta from March 16-19.
A native of Hinckley, Ohio, Pasadyn qualified for the 400-yard individual medley (event 8) with her time NCAA B cut time of 4:10.45 for 32
nd overall and the 200-yard backstroke (event 16) with her NCAA B cut time of 1:53.58 for 26
th overall. She also earned an optional swim in the 200-yard individual medley (event 4) due to her NCAA B cut time of 1:58.25 for 61
st overall.
Competition in the 400 IM is slated for Friday, March 18 with prelims at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 6:00 p.m. while competition in the 200 back is set for Saturday, March 19 with prelims at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 6:00 p.m. The 200 IM is set for Thursday, March 17 with prelims at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 6:00 p.m.
At the 2022 Ivy League Championships, Pasadyn won both the 400 IM and 200 back, while helping the Crimson capture the 800 free relay. She also placed second in the 200 IM, posting NCAA B cut times in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 back.
Pasadyn's season best times in the 400 IM (4:10.45), 200 back (1:53.58), and 200 IM (1:58.25) came at the Ivy League Championships.
A total of 322 participants (281 swimmers and 41 divers) will compete in the championships. Swimmers qualified for the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. ESPN3 will provide digital broadcast coverage for preliminary and finals sessions Wednesday through Saturday. Additionally, ESPNU will air a two-hour show at 7 p.m. Eastern time, Wednesday, March 30.
