CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 71 Harvard women's tennis team (7-7) will play host to two matches this weekend at the Murr Center Indoor Courts.
The Crimson is returning home after a 2-2 showing on the spring break trip to Florida. Harvard opened the week with a 4-0 loss to East Tennessee, before rebounding with a 4-2 win over Navy. Later in the week the Crimson dropped a 4-1 decision to Central Florida, before closing out the trip with a 4-2 win over No. 69 Brigham Young.
On Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m., Harvard will welcome the Minutewomen of Massachusetts (9-3, 3-0 A10). UMass has won three consecutive contests and nine of ten since starting the season 0-2.
Against Massachusetts all-time, the Crimson holds a perfect 8-0 record dating back to the first meeting in the 1979-80 season. The last meeting came in February of 2020 and was a 4-0 victory for Harvard.
On Sunday, March 27, Harvard will host Hofstra (1-5, 0-1 CAA) in a match set for 2 p.m.
This will be the first meeting in program history after the two schools were set to match up in March of 2020 before the season was cancelled due to the pandemic.

- The weekend marks the last stretch of non-conference play for Harvard before the Ivy League slate starts up on April 2.
- The Crimson earned its first ranking of the year at No. 75 on March 16, before moving up to No. 71 in the latest ITA polls on March 23.

Traci Green, The Sheila Kelly Palandijan Head Coach for Harvard Women's Tennis and the Ragatz Family Harvard Women's Coach of Excellence, is in her 15th season at the helm of the program. She has a career coaching record of 187-147, including a 154-119 mark at Harvard.
