BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Harvard University men's water polo has tallied 19 ACWPC All-Academic Team honorees for their achievements in the classroom, the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches and Collegiate Water Polo Association has announced.
Nominees must achieve a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or higher based on the most recent grades to be eligible for the award. Student-athletes were recognized in three levels: 3.2 to 3.4 (Excellent), 3.41 to 3.7 (Superior) and 3.71 to 4.0 (Outstanding).
The Crimson sees all 19 members of the program garner the recognition, while accounting for 10 of the 182 athletes that earned Outstanding honors. The program also earned team-wide recognition of overall excellence for the 13th consecutive season, having achieved a 3.65 cumulative GPA, standing as the third highest team GPA in the nation.
