Noah Kirkwood Named to All-Ivy League First Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's basketball senior Noah Kirkwood has been named to the 2022 All-Ivy League First Team, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon. The guard was one of four unanimous selections to land on the Ivy's top team.

Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, Kirkwood finished the campaign with averages of 17.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals, while shooting 47.7 percent from the floor, including 35.3 percent from three-point range, and 80.5 percent from the charity stripe. In conference games only, he averaged 19.2 points (.486 FG, .364 3FG, .767 FT), 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals.

The 6-7, 215-pound guard reached double figures in scoring 25 times, had three games with at least 10 rebounds and recorded three double-doubles. Kirkwood also led the team in scoring 13 times, rebounding on nine occasions and in assists 17 times.

Kirkwood surpassed the 20-point mark six times against Ivy League competition, including his career-high 31-point outburst vs. Cornell. He also had a 28-point performance at Columbia and a 27-point effort vs. Penn.

The first-team All-Ivy honor is Kirkwood's second of his career after he earned a spot on the squad as a sophomore in 2019-20. He was also the 2018-19 Ivy League Rookie of the Year.

Harvard has now had at least one All-Ivy League first-team selection in five straight seasons with Kirkwood being the first repeat honoree since Bryce Aiken (2016-17, 2018-19).
