CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the first time in three years, Harvard will meet Yale in its annual track and field dual meet on Saturday (April 9) in New Haven at Cuyler Athletic Complex, Dwyer Track and Frank Field.
Several of Harvard's multi-event athletes (Izzy Goudros, Jada Johnson, and John Minicus) will compete at the Duke Invitational, beginning tomorrow (April 7) and concluding on April 8.
In Durham, NC, Goudros and Johnson will compete in the women's heptathlon, set to begin at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 2 p.m. on Friday. Minicus will compete in the men's decathlon, beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday and continuing at 2 p.m. on Friday.
Harvard will send most of its team to New Haven for the rivalry dual meet, with field events set to begin at 12 p.m., and running events starting at 1 p.m.

What to Know
- Harvard leads the all-time Harvard-Yale dual meet on both the men's (65-49-1) and women's (28-12) side.
- For the second straight meet to open the season, a Harvard men's 4x100m relay team set a school record, this time at the Miami Hurricane Invitational on March 26, as Demarkes Stradford, Lance Ward, Oliver Murcko, and Jaeschel Acheampong won the event in 40.28 seconds.
- At the same meet, first-year Anastasia Retsa's mark of 4.15m (13'7") in the women's pole vault was enough to capture third place as well as set a new Harvard school record. Sam Welsh's mark of 56.01m in the men's discus throw won the event and was over a meter and a half farther than second place.
- That same weekend, Harvard's distance group went to the Raleigh Relays where Matthew Pereira put up the fourth fastest time in Harvard school history in the 5000m clocking in at 13:52.28. In the women's 10000m, Iz Sagar put up the fifth fastest time in Harvard school history at 24:08.23, while Eloise Freitag put up the 8th fastest time at 34:30.79.
