Get Priority Access to Harvard-Cornell Men's Ice Hockey Game at Bright-Landry

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – One of the most historic rivalries in college hockey returns to Bright-Landry Hockey Center next season, as Harvard and Cornell will faceoff on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023. Fans can gain priority access to tickets for the annual rivalry game by signing up at https://gocrimson.com/mhockey-priority.

The January contest will be the 161st meeting between Harvard and Cornell in men's ice hockey. Last season, Harvard took five of six ECAC Hockey points from the Big Red, including a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Cornell in front of a sold-out crowd at Bright-Landry Hockey Center on Nov. 5, 2021.

Rising junior and U.S. Olympian Sean Farrell scored twice in the game to lead Harvard, with rising senior goaltender Mitchell Gibson stopping 36 shots to earn the win in net.

Harvard returns four of its top five scorers, four of its top five defensemen (games played), and starting goaltender Mitchell Gibson from a 2021-22 team that finished 21-11-3 (14-6-2 ECAC Hockey), earning an NCAA Tournament bid and winning the program's 11th Whitelaw Cup as ECAC Hockey Tournament champions. Rising sophomore Matthew Coronato (18 goals, 18 assists), Harvard's leading scorer from a year ago returns, as does AHCA Second Team All-American defenseman Henry Thrun (seven goals, 25 assists).
