CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a battle of top-three ranked teams, No. 1 Harvard Men's Squash (8-0, 4-0 Ivy) defended their position atop the standings, handling No. 3 Princeton (3-1, 2-1 Ivy), 7-2.
The match began with the Crimson and Tigers trading matches as the score stood at 2-2 after four contests were complete. From that point on, it was all Harvard as
Marwan Tarek,
Ishant Shah, and
Denis Gilevskiy grabbed wins three, four, and five, respectively to secure the victory for the Crimson with two matches outstanding.
George Crowne grabbed win six for the Crimson, continuing his hot streak at the No. 2 position. The match ultimately came to a conclusion with an early ending to Tate Harm's match that was suspended due to Princeton injury. With the win the Crimson grow their undefeated streak to eight wins.
