CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 11 Harvard field hockey returns to Berylson Field on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. for its last remaining conference home game of the season against Penn. The program will also celebrate the class of 2024 as it hosts its annual senior day festivities. Harvard will look to remain undefeated in Ivy play as it heads into the final two weeks of the season. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
WHAT TO KNOW
- Harvard is coming off its biggest win of the season after defeating Boston University 7-0 on Tuesday night. The offensive outburst saw five different players find the back of the net.
- Sage Piekarski scored her sixth and seventh goals of the season against the Terriers. Piekarski currently leads the Ivy League in goals among rookies.
- Avery Donahue registered her first multi-goal game of the season against BU.
- Harvard hasn't allowed a goal since Oct.1 and has outscored opponents 21-5 over that span.
- From that Harvard has jumped up in the national rankings and currently sits in the top ten in goals per game.
- Harvard also sits in fourth nationally in shutouts per game as the program currently has six shutouts in 14 games.
- Captain Emily Guckian stretched her point streak to 10 games after registering an assist in the win at New Balance Field.
- With a win, Harvard guarantees a share of the Ivy title in 2023.
- Harvard has an all-time record of 25-17-2 against Penn and has won the lax six games against the Quakers.
