CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In their sole day of racing at the 58
th annual Head of the Charles the Harvard-Radcliffe women's lightweight rowing team registered two top-five finishes. The highlight of the day came when the Black and White took home gold in the Women's Lightweight Eights for the second straight season.
To open the day the Black and White recorded a fifth-place finish in the Women's Lightweight Fours event. The Radcliffe boat of
Ella Serrano-Wu (C),
Madelyn Brody (1),
Amelia Cooper (2),
Sisira Holbrook (3), and
Isabel Mehta (4) finished fifth following a time of 19:20.348. The boat finished only behind Stanford, Wisconsin, Princeton, and British Columbia boats.
To close out the weekend, the Black and White defended their title in the Women's Lightweight Eights. Consisting of

Kristine Schwartz (2), Rikke Nielsen (3),
Calliste Skouras (4),
Elsa Andrews (5),
Erin Hanrahan (6),
Ava Sack (7), and
Charlotte Paley (8), the Black and White finished in a time of 17:15.693. The first-place time put the Radcliffe boat ahead of second-place finisher, BU, by more than four seconds.
