CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard Cross Country team will host and compete at the 2023 Ivy League Cross Country Championship Meet on Saturday, Oct. 28. The meet will take place at Franklin Park and be streamed on ESPN+.

The women's 6k will be the first race of the day with an 11:00 a.m. start time, followed by the men's 8k at 12:00 p.m. Live results will be available from Leone Timing.

A fan bus will be traveling to Franklin Park from Harvard to offer more opportunity to cheer on the Crimson. Details on the bus are available at the link above.
What to Know
• The Crimson last raced at two meets on Friday, Oct. 13 in the Nuttycombe Invite and the IC4A/ECAC Championship Meet.
Graham Blanks won the Nuttycombe Invite against a stacked field and led the men's team to a sixth-place finish. The women's team finished 19th in Wisconsin, led by
Maia Ramsden in sixth. In New York, the men's team finished 13th and the women's team finished 11th.
• The Harvard men's team is ranked seventh in the nation and second in the Northeast region. The women's team ranks first in the Northeast region and 26th in the nation. Both teams are now in a position to make it to the NCAA Championship meet.
• In 2022, the Crimson women's team won the Ivy League Championship meet and the men's team finished second, just one point behind Princeton. Harvard had both 2022 individual champions as well in Ramsden and
Acer Iverson. On the men's side, Blanks finished as the runner-up.
• Harvard has raced multiple Ivy League opponents already this year, most recently finishing as the top Ivy League squads at the Nuttycombe Invite and at the Battle in Beantown.

Harvard will head to Van Cortlandt Park in New York, N.Y., on Friday, Nov. 10, where the Crimson will have a shot at qualifying for the NCAA Championship Meet as a team while racing in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship. The top two teams will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship meet.
