Putnam Nets Game Winner in Sudden Death to Beat No. 6 Princeton

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 13 Harvard men's water polo defeated No. 6 Princeton in sudden death on Sunday afternoon after Gabe Putnam scored the golden goal in the third overtime frame. Oliver Price made many key saves in all three overtime periods to clinch the win over the nationally-ranked Tigers. 
 
Harvard has now improved to 26-6 and won 15 games in a row heading into the final weekend of the regular season. The win over the Tigers marks the first victory over the Ivy rival since 2021. 
 
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS  NEXT UP 
Harvard is back in action at Blodgett next weekend to take on Brown and MIT on Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, respectively, before hosting the NWPC Championship on Nov. 17-19.
