CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving celebrated its six seniors at its Senior Meet on Saturday after competing against Ivy League foes Dartmouth and Cornell. The Crimson (2-1; 2-1 Ivy) defeated the Big Green, 158-142, but dropped a narrow decision to the Big Red, 152-148.
"It was a joy celebrating our six graduating seniors today," said
Amanda Kulik, The Costin Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Swimming & Diving. "We thank and honor them for their spirit, dedication, leadership and positive impact on the program!
"The coaching staff and I are also incredibly proud of the fight and tenacity our women displayed at the meet," Kulik added. "Our team faced some great challenges! While the score does not fully reflect our efforts and accomplishments, our swimmers had some outstanding head-to-head races and our divers continued to be a force on the boards! We continue onward in our quest to learn, grow, come together and give our best. We are very optimistic and hungry for what's to come against Columbia and at the Minnesota Invite!"
