Women’s Lightweight Rowing Concludes Fall at Princeton Chase; Radcliffe A Takes First in Varsity 2 Race

Princeton, NJ – Radcliffe lightweight rowing concluded their fall season this past weekend at the Princeton Chase.  The women competed in Varsity 8, Varsity 4, and Varsity 2 races in the one day regatta. 
 
Beginning the day in Women's Open 8+ event, the Black and White finished in a time of 15:02.934 to secure ninth place out of 57 boats.  In their second event of the regatta, the Radcliffe women took 10th out of 35 in the Women's 4+ event with a time of 16:45.262.
 
The highlight of the day for the women came in the Women's 2 event which featured two Black and White boats both finishing within the top-five.  Leading the way was the Radcliffe A in first place with a time of 17:04.511, which would ultimately be over 26 seconds faster than the second-place boat.  The Black and White rounded out their day with the Radcliffe B boat taking fifth place with a time of 17:33.234. 
 
Following two strong days at the Head of the Charles and the Princeton Chase, the Black and White have concluded its fall season and will now look ahead to the 2024 spring.

The women will return to the water in 2024 for their spring season.
