CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving is set to honor its senior class on Saturday when it continues its 2023-24 campaign at Blodgett Pool vs. Dartmouth and Cornell. The double-dual meet is slated for an 11 a.m. ET start and will air live on ESPN+.
What to Know
- The Crimson will recognize its six-athlete Class of 2024 on Saturday. Participating in their final regular-season home meet of their Harvard careers are Addie Rose Bullock (Marietta, Ga.), Rey Chin (San Francisco, Calif.), Victoria Eisenhauer (Pine Brook, N.J.), Kate Hazlett (Greenwich, Conn.), Natalie Whalen (Southlake, Texas) and Sophia Zhang (New York, N.Y.).
- Harvard opened its campaign on Oct. 27, with a 170-130 victory over Brown. The decision provided Amanda Kulik, The Costin Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving, her first career win as head coach.
- First-year Alexandra Bastone won a pair of events (500 free, 1,000 free) against Brown as did sophomore Anya Mostek (100 free, 200 free). Harvard also swept the diving contests, with Remi Edvalson winning on the 1-meter board and Amy Wotovich taking the 3-meter competition.
- The Crimson is looking for its second straight 3-0 start and its seventh in the last eight seasons.
- Harvard is looking to improve upon its 37-1 all-time record vs. Cornell. After losing the first matchup in 1983, the Crimson has rattled off 37 straight wins against the Big Red.
- Harvard has enjoyed considerable success against Dartmouth, claiming 42 of the 45 all-time meetings. The Crimson dropped three of the first five tilts, but has since won 40 in a row vs. the Big Green.
