ITHACA, N.Y. – Harvard women's fencing placed fourth in the Ivy League after wrapping up their second day of competition at the Ivy League Championships on Sunday, Feb. 12.
Annora Lee (foil),
Zoe Kim (sabre) and
Emily Vermeule all earned second team All-Ivy honors.
After winning all three of their matches on Saturday, the Crimson came into the second day of the Ivy League Championships tied for second.
Harvard began action on Sunday against Princeton who came into the match also undefeated at 4-0. The match tightly contested.
Faith Park (epee) won all three of her bouts and
Ever Marinelli (foil) and
Emily Vermeule would win two out of their three bouts. However, the Crimson would fall just short to the Tigers 11-16.
Their second match came up against Columbia who also came into the match undefeated at 4-0. Despite two wins from
Annora Lee and
Claire Beddingfield (epee), the Crimson would fall 20-7 to the Lions.
Harvard would fence against Penn in their final match of the Ivy League Championships.
Zoe Kim and
Emily Vermeule each impressed in this match, each notching two wins. However, the Crimson would fall 19-8 to conclude the tournament.

International Action
- Elizabeth Tartakovsky earned a bronze medal at the Senior World Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This is Tartakovsky's first international medal at a senior level and she is also the first American women's saberist to medal in a World Cup since 2020. Tartakovsky also fenced in the team event where her team placed 5th after beating France and Italy, the number one and three world team's respectively.
- Lauren Scruggs placed 15th in the Turin Grand Prix in Turin, Italy.
- Harvard alumni and coach Eli Dershwitz placed 7th in the Warsaw World Cup and placed bronze in the team event.
