PRINCETON, N.J. – The Harvard women's swimming and diving team collected nine All-Ivy League awards, the conference announced today. The Crimson earned four first-team nods and five second-team accolades.
Senior
Samantha Shelton captured three All-Ivy First-Team honors after she won the 200 back and 200 free, and swam the anchor leg on the winning 400 medley relay. First-year
Anya Mostek was a two-time honoree after swimming the fastest 100 back and the opening segment of the 400 medley relay. Mostek's classmates,
Kaia Li and
Sydney Lu, were also first-team selections after swimming the middle two legs of the 400 medley relay.
Mostek and Lu also garnered second-team accolades after finishing in second place in the 100 fly and 200 back, respectively. The duo, along with Shelton and
Molly Hamlin, was recognized for their efforts in the 800 free relay.
Remi Edvalson (1-meter) and
Elizabeth Miclau (3-meter), meanwhile, secured second-team honors for their performance in the diving competitions.
Shelton, additionally, was named to the Academic All-Ivy League team for her performance in the classroom.
