Harvard Women's Tennis Hosts Baylor University on Wednesday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard women's tennis (3-3) returns to Cambridge to take on Baylor University (6-2) on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. in the Murr Tennis Center.
 
The Crimson's matchup against Baylor marks the first time the two schools will play each other since 2010. Harvard trails the all-time series with the Bears, 0-3.
 
This is also the Crimson's first matchup against the school in the Big-12 since it played Kansas State in 2013.

  • Harvard is seeking to snap a three-match losing streak.
  • The Crimson's three loses have been against teams with a combined record of 15-4 (LSU, Penn State, No. 4 Duke).
  • The Crimson is coming off a 7-0 defeat at the hands of No. 4 Duke on Saturday.
  • Sophia Ho leads the Crimson in singles with 11 wins over the whole year.
  • Angel You leads the Crimson in doubles, also with 11 wins over the whole year.
  • First-year Harvard assistant coach Daniella Silva will be facing her old program for the first time. She spent previous two seasons coaching the Bears and earned her master's degree from the school in the Spring of 2022.
  • Baylor comes to Cambridge coming off a 6-1 loss to No. 18 Florida last Sunday.
  • The Bears are receiving votes in the latest ITA top 25 rankings which were released on Feb. 1.
