Cambridge, Mass. - The Harvard Track and Field team will send athletes to two meets this weekend, both taking place from Friday, Feb. 10 to Saturday, Feb. 11. The two meets will be the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C. and the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University in Boston, Mass. The Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational will stream on ACCNX.
The BU Valentine Invitational will hold women's events on Friday and men's events on Saturday, with the exception of the distance medley relays taking place on opposite days. Friday will begin with heats of the 5000m run at 10 a.m. followed by field events starting at 11 a.m. The meet is set to conclude with the faster heats of the 5000m run at 9:35 p.m. with an expected end time of 11 p.m. Saturday will follow the same schedule, with the exception of the men's 5000m run early heats getting started an hour earlier at 9 a.m.
The Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational will start on Friday at 11 a.m. with the men's weight throw and run until the conclusion of the men's 60m dash at 6 p.m. Saturday the meet will resume at 10 a.m. with the women's shot put and high jump and the men's pole vault and triple jump. The meet will wrap up around 4 p.m. after the 4x400m relays cross the finish line.

• Harvard Track and Field competed at two meets last weekend, one of which was hosted by the Crimson. Five school records were broken across the Crimson Elite and Multi and the BU Scarlet and White Invitational.
• School records broken last week include
Graham Blanks in the men's mile run, also breaking an Ivy League record with a time of 3:56.63,
Maia Ramsden in the mile run with a 4:30.19,
Izzy Goudros in the long jump with a 6.20m jump,
Victoria Bossong in the 500m run with a time of 1:10.23 and
Anastasia Retsa in the pole vault clearing 4.16m.

Vivien Henz set the Luxembourg national record in the mile by over 10 seconds, setting the new time to beat for the nation at 3:57.47.
• Harvard won five events at the Crimson Elite and Multi: Goudros in the pentathlon, Retsa in the pole vault,
Mfoniso Andrew in the 400m dash,
Stephanie Ratcliffe in the weight throw and
Sarah Omoregie in the shot put.
• The Crimson 4x400m relay team of Bossong, Goudros,
Tina Martin and
Chloe Fair won the event at the Scarlet and White invite and now sit second in the Crimson record books.
• Two Harvard event squads are currently ranked sixth in the nation by the USTFCCCA: The men's milers and the women's weight throw.
