Cambridge, Mass. - The Harvard Softball team (11-9-1, 3-2 Ivy) will host the Brown Bears (5-14, 2-4 Ivy) for three games this weekend on Friday, March 31 with a single game at 2 p.m. and a doubleheader on Sunday, April 2 at 12:30 and 3 p.m. All games will be streamed on ESPN+.

Sunday's first game at 12:30 p.m. will feature a free sweatshirt giveaway to all undergraduate students in attendance, while supplies last. 

What to Know

• The Crimson opened Ivy League action with three road victories at Penn (W, 6-0; W, 9-1; W, 12-6) and then returned home last weekend to face Cornell, winning one of three games in a 6-0 shutout and falling to the Big Red 5-4 in the remaining two matchups. 
• Trina Hoang led the Crimson offensively through last weekend's three contests with four hits resulting in a double and two RBI, a stolen base and no errors throughout the weekend. Teagan Shaw had an excellent weekend as well, highlighted by her triple and later run off a wild pitch. 
• In Harvard's 6-0 shutout victory over Cornell, Katie Arrambide pitched all seven innings, giving up just one hit, walking one and striking out five.
• Harvard leads Brown in the all-time series, 69-38. In the Crimson and Brown Bears' last meeting, Harvard won the first game with a score of 2-1, then fell to the Bears 0-1. They wrapped up the 2022 series with a 4-3 victory in eight innings. 
• Brown will be coming off two non-conference doubleheaders prior to this weekend's contests. They split a doubleheader with Bryant on Tuesday, March 28 and will head to URI on Thursday, March 30 before traveling to Cambridge. In their last Ivy League series hosting Princeton, the Bears won one of three games.
